MEGAN – 8 YEAR OLD FEMALE IN FLORIDA
February 2009 - Megan is an 8 year old spayed female Welshie who came in to WSSCA’s rescue program after her owner had a change in her personal home living circumstances and felt that Megan and her other dog needed more than she could provide.
Megan is doing very well in foster care and is allowed to be loose in the home during the day and night. She causes no damage and is settling in well. Crate training has started and is progressing well. Megan has not been around cats, but does do well with other dogs as she lived with an English Springer Spaniel previously. She rides quietly in the car and is an easy house guest in her foster home.
The only medical concern that Megan has is spay incontinence for which she takes PPA in a spoon of peanut butter daily. She does well with this and stays dry. The medication is not expensive and is all that Megan requires.
