SYDNEY – Age 10 Years

Sydney came in to WSSCA foster care in November and has done well with treatment for Lyme disease (very common in the Northeast) as well as some dental care and a needed weight gain following her stay in a shelter in New York state.

Sydney was body shaved by the shelter staff and will soon be sporting a more typical Welshie coat. Sydney is a typical senior and is eating kibble that has been softened with some warm water.  She does enjoy some raw food  and is benefitting from this as well. Her only aversion is to crates and she does best when just permitted to hang out and be herself at home. She is currently living in a multi-dog home and is doing well in this environment.
